The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is more info often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area each day. The provider level produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and enhance use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
